Scientific communication at the 7th International Conference of the Pan African Fish and Fisheries Association held in Brazzaville, Republic of the Congo.

PAFFA announcement

Several members involved in the project attended the 7th International Conference of the Pan African Fish and Fisheries Association (PAFFA) This edition of this international event took place in Brazzaville (18-23 October 2023). This conference was a key meeting for the ichthyologist community working on African fishes and presented a good occasion to share part of the results of the project. One plenary lecture, five oral presentations, and one poster related to the project were presented during the event. One of these presentations, dealing with species delineation and the phylogeography of the small barbs from the "KEA" basins, by Heleen Maetens, won a student prize.
